Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Tuesday expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Ekushey Award-winning poet and architect Rabiul Husain.
In a condolence message, the Prime Minister said he was an architect, poet, critic, short story writer, columnist and cultural activist.
“Although he was an architect his involvement was with various national and international organisations. Rabiul Husain will be remembered forever for his own works,” she said.
Sheikh Hasina prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed profound sympathy to the bereaved family.
Rabiul Husain died at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) Hospital on Tuesday morning.
