Prime Minister and Awami League President Sheikh Hasina on Tuesday expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of former member of office sub-committee of Awami League and manager of central AL office Md Shahjahan.
She prayed for the eternal salvation of the departed soul and expressed sympathy to the bereaved family.
Shahjahan breathed his last on Monday night at a city hospital at the age of 58. He left his wife, two daughters and a host of relatives and well-wishers.
Meanwhile, Road Transport and Bridges Minister and AL General Secretary Obaidul Quader also expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Shahjahan.
