Very recently after her artist residency in America Piu Sarkar has arrived in Mumbai. She is also a scriptwriter who has received ‘Visual Art Awards’ & has done many exhibitions in Jehangir Art Gallery. She appeared with Zee Music Co & Sahara Television and Phantom Films. Her drive behind making movies is to show a ‘new truth’ to the world which has not been realised before. ‘That what is original is genius.’ ‘The wine girl’ is a movie signing Karan Singh Grover, Jim Sarbh, Govinda, Sanya Malhotra, Harshvardhan Rane & there are many other movies that she is thinking of creating as according to her senses and taste. Such as horror, intelligent comedy, love stories etc.
