Police filed a case with Durgapur police station on Wednesday night against number of 40 BNP-Jamaat workers including BNP central leader Barrister Kaiser Kamal for their involvement in carrying out a patrol bomb attack on a sand-laden truck at Birisiri area under Durgapur Upazila of Netrakona district on Tuesday night.
Officer -in-charge of Durgapur police station Rejaul Islam Khan said, the case was recorded under the special power act as the driver , assistant driver of the truck were received serious burn-injuries and the truck was gutted.
Meanwhile, police arrested four persons including president of BNP Birisiri union unit Tara Mia for their involvement in the terrorism incident, the OC said adding that police continued conducting operations to nab all the accused of the case.
