Ingredients :
100 grams grated paneer
(cottage cheese)
1 green chilli (finely chopped)
½ tsp jeera
½ tsp dhaniya (coriander) powder
½ tsp chilli powder
Salt to taste
Oil for cooking
Dough for making parathas
(regular dough made of wheat
or making chapattis)
Procedure:
Mix grated paneer, chopped chilli and the masalas thoroughly.
Now, make two medium sized balls of the wheat dough. Add salt and mix well. Now use a rolling pin to roll out one of the balls. Use some wheat to dust the dough so that it doesn’t stick to the rolling pin. Take half of the stuffing and place it on the centre of the rolled dough and cover it up with from all sides
and make a ball. You may use some wheat again to dust it so that it gets rolled easily.
Now heat a tava. Once the surface is hot enough to start cooking, place this rolled paratha. Add some oil around the circumference. A few seconds later, flip it and cook the other side. Again add some oil until the paratha cooks well.
Repeat the same process to make another paratha.
