State Minister for Post, Telecommunication and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Zunaid Ahmed Palak on Wednesday handed over 145 tablet PCs to the Speaker of the Parliament Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury at her Parliament office.
These tablets were distributed as part of the ICT Infra-Network for Bangladesh Govt. Phase-II, popularly dubbed as Info-Sarkar where govt is distributing 25,000 tablet PCs to implement the vision of e-governance. It is a two-year project that initiated on 2013, funded by the Chinese government.
Deputy Speaker Fazle Rabbi Miah was present.
