Work for a Better Bangladesh Trust
A human chain organised by different organisations including Work for a Better Bangladesh Trust was formed in front of the Jatiya Press Club on Wednesday. In the programme the speakers demanded zebra crossing on the roads for disabled for free movement. The function was addressed, among others, by General Secretary of Protyasha , an anti-drugs organisation Helal Ahmed, Advocacy Officer of The Institute of Wellbeing ANM Masum Billah Bhuiyan, Chairman of Human Rights Disability and Development Foundation Mohammad Rajib Sheikh and Programme Officer of Society of the Deaf and Sign Language User Tasnuba Meherun. Assistant Project Officer of Work for a Better Bangladesh Trust Talukder Rifat Pasha presided over the event. Assistant Network Officer of the Institute of Wellbeing Mohammad Mithun conducted the event.
