Bangladesh Garo Chhatra Sangathan
A rally organised by different organisations including Bangladesh Garo Chhatra Sangathan, Bangladesh Rakhine Students Association, Pahari Chhatra Parishad, Tripura Students Forum and Bangladesh Rakhine Buddhist Welfare Association was held in front of the Jatiya Press Club recently with a call not to evict Rakhine habitat at Choufaldandi in Cox’s Bazar district. The leaders of the organisations bitterly criticized eviction of Rakhine Palli at Choufaldandi. The leaders also urged the authority concerned to change the design of project immediately without demolishing Rakhine Palli, crematory ground and Bouddha Bihar in the said area.
