Bangladesh Minority Sangram Parishad Leaders of Bangladesh Minority Sangram Parishad at a hunger strike held in front of the National Eidgah in the city recently called upon all to resist communal attacks. They also demanded of the government to arrest the attackers on religious minority communities in the post-polls violence and give exemplary punishment. The programme was attended, among others, by President of the organisation Prof Ashok Taru, , Advocate Ashok Kumar Ghosh, SK Badal, Engr Uttam Kumar Saha, Gopal Chandra Das, Harendra Nath Majumder, Dr Pintu Mishra, Dr Mohol Lal, Mr David, Kartik Chakravarty, Kajol Chandra Halder and Swapon Kumar Dey. Among others, Vice-Chairman of Jatiya Hindu Kalyan Trust Justice Gour Gopal Saha, President of Jatiya Ganotantrik League MA Jalil, President of Bholanandagiri Ashram and Trust Bishwanath Chowdhury, leader of Bangladesh Bishwa Hindu Parishad Monoj Kumar Mondol and General Secretary of Hindu-Muslim-Bouddha -Christian Sampreety Parishad Rokon Uddin Pathan expressed solidarity with the programme. They urged all to be united to make Bangladesh as non-communal country being imbued with the perception of liberation war.
