Bangabandhu Sangskritik Jote
A discussion organised by Bangabandhu Sangskritik Jote was held at the Jatiya Press Club marking the 72nd founding anniversary of Bangladesh Awami League. State Minister for Information and Broadcasting Dr Murad Hassan was present as the chief guest in the programme held recently. While speaking Murad said ‘Bangabandhu, Bangladesh and Awami League are inseparable and synonymous’ . Bangladesh Awami League is the root of all the development , Murad said. Through the tireless hard work and dedication of Bangabandhu, the Awami League has become a party of the masses across the country and great freedom has been achieved under the leadership of the Awami League, he added. Once again, Bangabandhu’s daughter, people-friendly leader and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has revived Bangladesh from many difficulties in the pro-independence period and with the help of the 72-year-old party,Bangladesh is rapidly advancing on the highway of development, he continued. The function was also addressed , among others, by Dhaka City South unit of Awami League Vice-President Hedayetul Islam Swapan. Presidium Member of the jote Danny Sidak presided over the event.
