A discussion organised by ‘Samprodayeekata-Jangibad Birodhi Mancha’ was held at Dhaka Reporters Unity auditorium in the city’s Segunbagicha on Wednesday with Coordinator of the organisation Ajoy Roy in the chair. While speaking the speakers urged the countrymen to build a united resistance against Jamaat-Shibir clique branding them as local version of IS. They said there is no IS in Bangladesh but Jamaat-BNP is carrying out terrorist activities to destabilize the country. The discussion was addressed, among others, by former Deputy Governor Khandker Ibrahim Khaled, Oikya NAP President Pankaj Bhattacharjee, economist MM Akash, JSD General Secretary Sharif Nurul Ambia and Joint General Secretary Nazmul Haq Prodhan. The speakers urged the government to ban the politics of Jamaat-Shibir in the country.
