A discussion organized by Bangabandhu Academy was held in the city on Sunday to commemorate the birthday of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s youngest son, Sheikh Russell. Chaired by the advisor of the organisation, Haji Mohammad Selim, MP, the chief guest of the function was former Home Minister, Sahara Khatun, MP while
State Minister for Home Affairs Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal as the special guest. While addressing Kamal said when Chattra Dal is busy in in-fighting what chance does BNP have of launching a movement. He further said people of this country do not want to see violent politics again. They want peace and prosperity. So, they were not responding to BNP’s programmes.
