In Narayanganj, a worker of a Steel factory was killed after burnt in molten iron in the Rahim Steel Mills Co Ltd under Sonargawn upazila of the district on Saturday morning.
The deceased was identified as Suruj Mia, 37, son of one Abdus Sattar working as a crane operator from Manikganj district.
Local sources said that the accident occurred around 3am on Saturday when molten iron from a container leaked into the factory floor, which burned Suruj and killed him on the spot.”

Police Station confirmed the news media that police recovered the body. We are investigating the matter to find out what actually happened, SI added.
Owners of the Factory assured that “the Company would compensate for the accident and will also employ a family member of Suruj.
It is noted that at least four workers of a factory were critically burnt in Boiler blast on 11th January of this year.
