Rezia Islam, wife of National Oil, Gas, Power, Mineral Resources and Port Protection Committee convener Engineer Sheikh Muhammad Sahidullah died of old-age complications on Wednesday at Ayesha Memorial Hospital in city’s Mohakhali area.
She was 78.
Rezia Islam is survived by his husband, two sons, two daughters and a large number of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death. She was buried at Azimpur Graveyard after the Namaz-e-Janaza after Asr Prayers at DOHS Jame Mosque.
National Oil, Gas, Power, Mineral Resources and Port Protection Committee expressed deep shock at the death of Rezia Islam and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members and prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul.
