S. Zakia Banu, ex. Deputy Director, Social Services Department, Government of Bangladesh, and wife of retired Banker and journalist Ghulam Haider died on Tuesday morning at her residence in Uttara, Dhaka.
She had been suffering from the heart complication for a long time. She is survived by husband, one son and two daughters.
Throughout her life, she was honest, sober, and dutiful. She was buried at Nagarkanda in the district of Faridpur at family graveyard.
