Rokeya Begum, mother of Rimon Mahfuz, Acting Editor of Dainik Sangbad Pratidin and Assistant General Secretary of Bangladesh Chalachitra Sangbadik Samity (Bachsas), passed away at her residence in Sirajganj on Monday. She was 85. She left behind four sons, three daughters and a host of relatives and admirers to mourn her death.
Rokeya Begum was laid to eternal rest at Rahmatganj Graveyard after Johr prayers following namaz-e-janaza.
