Moazzem Hossain, husband of Akhtari Moazzem, a former ward commissioner of Mirpur, died of old-age complications at BIRDEM Hospital in the city on Monday. He was 85.
He left behind wife, three sons, four daughters and a host of relatives and well wishers to mourn his death.
The namaz-e-janaza of Moazzem Hossain was held at Mirpur Central Jame Mosque after Asr prayer and he was buried at the Section No 11 Graveyard in Mirpur.
His Qulkhwani will be held at the local jame mosque after Asr prayers on Friday.
