A college girl allegedly committed suicide in a hostel of Dhaka Nursing College adjacent to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) on Thursday morning. The deceased has been identified as Nur Nahar, 19, a second year student of the college under the DMCH, police said.
Quoting the classmates of the victim, DMCH Police Outpost In-Charge Mozammel Haque confirmed the matter and said
that police went to hostel following an information and found the hanging body of Nahar with the ceiling fan inside her room around 7:15 am. The body had been sent to the DMCH morgue for autopsy.
Police could not discover any clue over the incident, the police official said.
