Shipping Minister Shahjahan Khan MP on Sunday said, there will be no talks with BNP-Jamaat as they are terming this government illegal on the one hand and saying about discussion on the other hand.
He added that BNP-Jamaat has killed people by burning, destroyed people’s properties, cut down trees and torched vehicles in the name of democratic movement. Those who have killed people would be awarded exemplary punishment.
He said this in an opinion exchanging meeting with the businessmen, transport owners and workers and labourers of Sonamasjid Land Port on the premises of Panama Port Link Limited in Chapainawabganj.
The meeting was held with the law maker of Chapainawabganj -1 (Shibganj) constituency Golam Rabbani in the chair.
Among others, law maker of Chapainawabganj -2 (Nachole, Gomostapur, Bholahat) constituency Golam Mostofa Biswas, Deputy Commissioner of Chapainawabganj Sardar Sarafat Ali, chairman of Land Port Authority Moyjuddin Ahmed and general secretary of Bangladesh Shramik Federation Osman Ali spoke on the occasion.
