Nistha Foundation has donated 120 bags of blood for the injured people in the chemical blast at BM Container Depot in Sitakunda, Chattogram. On Tuesday, the organisation’s male and female
volunteers donated blood through the Sandhani Blood Bank.
MA Sabur, Trustee and Vice Chairman of the Foundation, said, “Since Monday, our male volunteers have been working to serve the injured in Sitakunda. 30 more women volunteers joined with them later. We are providing blood donation, ambulance services, providing necessary medicines, foods and oxygen cylinders for the injured people.” He further said that not only the burn patients but also the homeless patients undergoing medical treatment are being provided medicine, burial and food by Nistha Foundation.
