Mobile court fines two bakeries in Nakla

Two bakeries and one oil mill proprietors and 5 easy bike driver were fined TK 10,500 fined by mobile court at Nakla Upazila in Sherpur on Wednesday afternoon. The leaded mobile court lewd by Assistant Commissioner (Land) Masud-Ul-Alam, Nakla Upazila Land Office. Among others, ASI Amdadul Haque and journalists of different print media were present . The fined factories are Ratul Biscuit factory, Shahin Bakery, Omama Oil Mill and unidentified five easy bike drivers.
Training on village court held at Mongla

A three day long training on Village Court was held in Mongla under Village Court Activation Project (2nd Phase) recently . The training started from Sunday and ended on Tuesday. UP members of Sonailtala Union Parishad and Mitakhali Union Parishad participated the training. It was organized by Mongla Upazilla Administration and it was held in Upazilla Parishad Conference Hall. On the ending ceremony , UNO of Mongla Md. Rabiul Islam presided over ceremony. At this time , Deputy Director of Local Government Department, Bagerhat Md. Jahirul Islam was present in the training session.
Dwelling house gutted in Chitalmari

A dwelling House belonging to an army personnel named Shafik of village Barabaria-Munshipara under Chitalmari Upazila in Bagerhat district on Tuesday morning. It is learnt from the locals that the fire originated from a kitchen spread to the adjacent dwelling house and went out of control. Being informed of the matter a fire brigade unit of Tungipara (Gopalganj district) rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control with the locals after a fighting for half an hour. But in spite of that the house was with its all belongings. The loss of fire is estimated to Tk.2 lakh.
KIN celebrated 15th year anniv at SUST

`KIN’ a voluntary organization of Shahjalal University of Science & Technology (SUST) has celebrated its 15th anniversary at campus around 1.0 pm. On this occasion, the organization has taken a four-day long programme. In the same sequence, a joy rally began from Arjuntala with the members of organization and ending in the same places including the important places of the campus circulated on Tuesday noon at 1.0 pm. Vice Chancellor Prof Farid Uddin Ahmed has inaugurated programme to cut the anniversary cake in the organization tent as a chief guest. At the time Assistant professor Saiful Alam Amin, Convener of KIN Hussain Ahmen Nishan, Co-convener Turjo Saha also were present. Other program of The four-day long event will be held next day’s respectively including the annual sports competitions among KIN School children’s, ‘Psychological Health Care Sessions’ will be held for psychological problems and its solutions.
Theft committed in Baraigram

A stealing was committed at the shop of`Five Brothers Electronics of Gormati bazar in Baraigram upazila under Natore district on last Sunday night. Stealers entered into the shop beaking the locks and took goods worth about taka four lack of the shop. Goods are 10 pieces TV, 20 rice cooker , 20 pressure cooker, 10 sound box, 20 electric fan, 18 iron machine, 20 volt stabilizer and 6 pieces of gas cooker. Owner of the shop Md Nurul Islam filed a GD in this connection to Baraigram thana.
Thana OC Md Shahariar Khan visited the shop on Monday.
