Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said the new generation should be imparted with the knowledge of Bangabandhu and the history of country’s independence.
He was speaking as the chief guest at the prize distribution ceremony of chess competition held on Wednesday at the National Sports Council conference room.
The Minister said the intuitive of holding creative chess competition with the students by the Sheikh Russel Shishu Kishor Parishad is appreciable and “Talent of children will be flourished through it”.
Sheikh Russel Shishu Kishor Parishad president Rakibur Rahman presided over the prize distribution ceremony.
Bangladesh Chess Federation general secretary Gazi Saiful Tateq and Sheikh Russel Shishu Kishor Parishad organizing secretaries KM Shahidullah and Moniruzzamn Polash were also present at the occasion.
