The new executive committee of Noakhali Journalists’ Forum (NJF), Dhaka has been formed on Tuesday with Abu Taher, Joint Editor of Bangladesh Pratidin and Mashiur Rahman Rubel, Chief Reporter of Janata, as the President and the General Secretary respectively.
The other office bearers are : Firoz Alam Milon (Ajker Bashundhara) – Vice-president, Ahmed Tofail (Jayjay Din) and Mostafa Manwar Sujan (SA TV) – joint secretaries, Shahadat Hossain Nijam (BTV) – finance secretary and Zamal Uddin (Ittefaq), ABM Ziaul Kabir Suman (Diganta TV), Harun Al Rashid (Prothom Alo), Ummul Wara Sweety (Amader Orthoniti), Zahidur Rahman (Samakal), Rahmat Ullah (Banglanews24.com), Ekramul Haque Sayem (ATN Bangla), Mohiuddin Ahmed (GTV), Iqbal Hossain Majnu (Somoy Songbad.com), Mainul Hossain Pinnu (Mohona TV) and Nazrul Islam (Manab Kantha) – executive members.
Abdur Rahim, Ahmed Najir, KG Mostafa, SM Jahurul Alam, Mahfuz Ullah, Chapal Bashar, Kamrul Islam Chowdhury, Saiful Amin, Tarun Tapan Chakravorty, and Shahed Chowdhury were made advisors of the committee.
