The transportation sector of Comilla University (CoU) has got a new bus. Prof Dr Emran Kabir Chowdhury, Vice Chancellor of CoU, inaugurated the bus in front of the Administration Building at CoU campus on Monday. Dr Md. Abu Taher, CoU Registar (acting), ANM Robiul Awal, General Secretary of CoUTS, members of CoU transportation committee, teachers, leaders of BSL and students of different faculty were also present there.
This bus is for carrying CoU students. Including this, there become 5 own bus of CoU transportation. CoU authority has bought this 40 seats’ bus by 78 lakh Tk from Hinu Company.
CoU VC said, “The new bus will help to alleviate some of the university’s transport crisis. Hope we can add 3/4 new bus for CoU students as early as possible.”
