The government has decided to appoint Md. Nazmul Islam as the next ambassador of Bangladesh to Sweden, said a foreign ministry release on Wednesday.
Md. Nazmul Islam, a career diplomat belongs to 15th BCS (Foreign Affairs), joined Foreign Service in 1995. Now he has been serving as Director General (Administration, GS & ICT) in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
In his distinguished diplomatic career, he served as the Consul General in Jeddah and Counselor in Beijing.
