Bangladesh Hockey Federation (BHF) on Monday announced a 28-member preliminary squad ahead of the Men’s FIH World Hockey League (WHL) (Round 2) to be held in Dhaka on March 4-12.
Selected players will start their training camp at Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishtan (BKSP) today (Tuesday) to get a spot in the 18-men final squad to represent the nation in the eight-nation FIH WHL.
The players have been asked to report to coach Mahbub Harun at 4.00 pm on start day of the camp.
Selected palyers are: Zahid Hossain, Asim Gope, Abu Sayeed Nippon, Biplob, Rezaul Karim Babu, Forhad Ahmed Shitul, Mamunur Rahman Chayan, Mohammad Ashraful Islam, Khorshedur Rahman, Imran Hasan, Sarwar Hossain, Mohammad Roman Sarkar, Naeem Uddin, Kamruzzaman, Russell Mahmud Jimmy, Mainul Islam, Pushkor Khisha Mimo, Arshad Hossain, Milon Hossain, Krishno Kumar Das, Tapos Borman, Deen Islam Emon, Hasan Jubaer Niloy, Fazle Hossain Rubbi, Mahbub, Sabuj, Shishir and Rakin.
