Social Welfare Minister Rashed Khan Menon on Saturday launched the country’s first electronic diabetes patient registry.
The listed information in that electronic system will help deliver quality care for patient living with diabetes through analysing epidemiology.
The electronic registry will be implemented through the institutions of Diabetic Association of Bangladesh (BADAS) and its affiliated associations across the country with the support of Novo Nordisk.
Diabetic Association of Bangladesh’s (BADAS) Secretary General Md Sayef Uddin and Novo Nordisk’s Senior Vice President Frederik Kier signed a memorandum of understanding to develop the registry on December of 2017.
