Bangabandhu’s 45th martyrdom anniversary and National Mourning Day were observed through various programs at Panchbibi in Joypurhat on Saturday.
A discussion meeting was held on the memorial premises from Panchbibi Central Memorial, from a huge rally. Chairman of Upazila Parishad Monirul Shahid Munna, President of Upazila Awami League Alhaj Abu Bakar Siddique Mandal, Municipal Mayor and General Secretary of Upazila Awami League Alhaj Habibur Rahman Habib, former Commander of Muktijoddha Alhaj Mizir Uddin Mandal spoke in the program of Upazila Executive Officer Md. Barman Hossain. Later cultural programs were held.
Besides, Muktijoddha Sangsad, Awami League and its affiliates carried out their programs separately.
