Nasum Ahmed nominated Player of the Month

Left-arm spinner Nasum Ahmed of Bangladesh has been nominated ICC (International Cricket Council) Player of the Month for September. The other cricketers, who have been nominated for the prize of the Player of the Month for September, are: Sandeep Lamichhane of Nepal and Jaskaran Malhotra of the United States of America.
Earlier, Mushfiqur Rahim of Bangladesh was named the ICC Player of the Month for May, while Shakib Al Hasan of Bangladesh was named the ICC Player of the Month for July.
Promising spinner Nasum Ahmed captured five wickets in five-match Twenty20 International (T20I) series against New Zealand in the month of September. Nasum Ahmed played the key role for Bangladesh to win the series 3-2.
Nasum Ahmed grabbed four wickets at the cost of 10 runs in the fourth T20I against New Zealand. Besides, he earned two maiden overs in that match, which is a record.
Sandeep Lamichhane of Nepal bowled extremely well in the ICC World Cup Super League-2. He grabbed 18 wickets playing six One Day International (ODI) matches. His economic rate was 3.17. Sandeep claimed four wickets in the space of 35 runs against Papua New Guinea (PNG). He also picked up six wickets instead of 11 runs against PNG. Sandeep took eight wickets for 18 runs against Oman.
Jaskaran Malhotra of United States of America showed superb performance against PNG in ICC World Cup Super League-2. He struck six sixes in an over against PNG. Jaskaran
hammered a marvelous 173. He scored 261 runs with an average of 87 in six ODI matches. Charlie Dean of England, Heather Knight of England and Lizelle Lee of South Africa have been nominated Female Cricketers of the Month for September.
