Nila (Farhana Mili) is a patient of complex mental disease, dissociative disorder. Someone with a dissociative disorder escapes reality in ways that are involuntary and unhealthy.
This type of person experiences a disconnection and lack of continuity between thoughts, memories, surroundings, actions and identity. Symptoms usually develop as a reaction to trauma and help keep difficult memories at bay. These things happen in case of Nila.
In her childhood Nila had affection to draw something. After getting married she got the opportunity. Once in an art exhibition she met an artist named Kalpana Chatterjee. Then she started to thing herself as Kalpana Chatterjee. She couldn’t recognise anybody, not even her husband too. Then complexities started in Nila’s life and story gets climax.
It is the story of weekly telefilm Kolponar Canvas, which will be aired on Maasranga TV tonight at 7:50pm. Directed by Moyukh Bari story of the telefilm was also written by himself. Naim and Farhana Mili played two lead roles in the telefilm.
