Muktijoddha Sangshad Krira Chakkra beat Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited by 3-2 goals in the 3rd phase of Nitol Tata Bangladesh Premier Football League held on Sunday at the Shaheed Sheikh Fazlul Haque Moni Stadium in Gopalganj.
In the day’s match, Muktijoddha took their lead in the very first minute through their Nigerian forward Nkwocha Kingsley. Another Nigerian forward Sunday Chizoba doubled the lead in the 30th minute of the match.
Mohammedan came back in the match with a goal of forward Wahed in the 32nd minute but Sunday scored the third for Muktijodda in the 54th minute.
Wahed netted another goal for Mohammedan in the 57th minute.
With the day’s win, the freedom fighters secured 30 points from 19 matches while Mohammedan remained with 32 points from the same number of matches.
