The government is going to give an announcement soon for the inclusion of the non-government educational institutions under the Monthly Pay Order (MPO) benefits.
Education Minister Dipu Moni said, the work for the inclusion of non-government educational institutions under MPO perks is at the last stage and it will be announced soon.
“The work for the inclusion of non-government educational institutions is at the last stage. It will be announced soon,” she said in reply to a query of the journalists at the Sherpur Circuit House on Sunday.
The government started giving the MPO facility since 2019 after nearly nine years of movement of the teachers of the non-government educational institutions to get the benefits.
Since then the government in phases is bringing the non-government educational institutions under the benefits of MPO.
Education Minister again gave the announcement that the non-government teachers and its employees will soon get the benefits of MPO.
While attending the tri-annual conference of Sherpur City Awami League, Dipu Moni also said that the education will not be hampered when the new curriculum will be launched.
About the national election, she said, “Awami League is a democratic party. We have a history of 72 years. Our history says we came to power through democratic process. Awami League is ready to hold election with the participation of all political parties.”
