As a pair, Moushumi-Omar Sani acted first movie Dola was released on December 2 in 1993. As a part of its continuation, this pair celebrated silver jubilee in the silver screen. They not only became a happy couple in real life but also got fame among the viewers as a popular pair. Moushumi tied the nuptial knot with Omar Sani on August 2 in 1996. After Dola, Moushumi and Omar Sani worked together as a pair in many movies which became popular.
Omar Sani said, “Everybody pray for us as we remain well. Allah blessed us a son and a daughter. With everybody’s love and co-operation we have passed 25 years as a pair in the big screen.”
Moushumi shared her feelings by this way, “With Allah’s blessing we have crossed 25 years successfully. Now we are trying to bring up Fardin and Faiza as good human being. We want to try to present our real life story in a telefilm titled Bhalobashar Bish Bochhor. I am lucky because I got a good friend and life partner like Sani. Everybody pray for us.”
Though Omar Sani started his career in big screen through Nur Hossain Bolai’s movie Ei Niye Sangsar but Darashiko presented her successfully among the viewers through his movie Chander Alo. Legendary actress Anwara’s daughter Mukti acted against Sani in this movie.
On the other hand, Moushumi started her career with late hero Salman Shah in Sohanur Rahman Sohan’s Keyamat Theke Keyamat in 1993.
