Mobile court drives CDA resumes again

The activities of mobile court of city watchdog -Chittagong development authority resumes after one year.
 The actions of the mobile court against the illegal constructions and misuse of buildings has resumed after long around one year as the new magistrate has been appointed by CDA recently. The new Executive Magistrate of CDA S M Shafi Kamal conducted a raid at Panchlaish Residential Area on August 23 and fined community center, clinics and schools for illegal use of the residential buildings there.
Executive Magistrate of CDA S M Shafi Kamal said he got information that there are some buildings in residential areas at Panchlaish which are being used as commercial buildings. “So, the CDA mobile court conducted mobile court and fined the owners of the community centers, clinics and schools for illegal use of the residential buildings there.
Sources said, CDA mobile court fined Sheba Hospital Tk 30,000, Shaila Square Community Center Tk one lakh and Niramoy Clinic Tk 30,000. Besides, the Executive Magistrate of CDA S M Shafi Kamal issued alert notice to other two private clinics and two schools there during the mobile court.
