UNB, Sirajganj :
A physically challenged minor boy was killed in a road accident at Purba Khash Kawlia village in Chowhali upazila of the district on Monday.
The deceased was identified as Sohel Rana, 12, son of Shahidul Islam, a resident of Char Jajuria village of the upazila.
Officer-in-charge of Chowhali Police Station Mahbubul Alam said the accident took place when a soil-laden tractor knocked down Sohel around 5:00pm leaving him dead on the spot.
The driver of the tractor managed to flee.
On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Sirajganj Sadar Hospital morgue.
A case was filed in this connection.
