Nakhalpara raid: Militants killed in gun shots: Autopsy

An autopsy reports say that the three alleged militants were killed in gun shots at Nakhalpara during the operation into a den of banned radicals’ outfit Jama’atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB).
The report was disclosed on Saturday afternoon at Suhrawardi Medical Collge and Hospital (SMCH), said Professor Dr Selim Reza, Head of the Forensic Department of the medical college hospital.

Selim Reza started the operation around 3:30pm and finished the all formalities at 5:30pm, the Professor said.
Meanwhile, Siddiqur Rahman, Deputy Director of RAB-3, filed a case accusing the three militants and some unidentified people with Tejgaon Police Station in this connection under Anti-Terrorism Act, said Lieutenant Colonel Imranul Hasan, Commanding Officer (CO) of the elite force unit.
He also could not ascertain the names of the militants.
“We are investigating the incident with the highest priority to find out their motive,” the CO added.
Earlier, three alleged militants died in an action of Rapid Action Battalion in a hideout of banned radicals outfit JMB on the fourth floor of the six-storey house of Rubby Villa in the city’s West Nakhalpara area early Friday.
Several suicidal vests, a pistol, explosives, improvised explosive devices (IED), and some bulbs were recovered from the hideout which was rented by militants on January 4.
Law enforcers earlier raided third times the house No 13/1, is approximately 100 yards from the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), RAB officials said.
