After conceding the defeat, South Korea were out of the World Cup 2018.
By virtue of yesterday’s victory, Mexico are now on the brink of second round.
All-win Mexico bagged six points from two matches.
Earlier, Mexico registered a lone goal victory over Germany on June 17.
South Korea failed to earn any point playing two matches.
Sweden, the other team of Group-F beat South Korea by one goal to nil on June 18.
Thus, Sweden collected three points from one match.
Reigning champions Germany failed open their account playing one match.
