Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind and lightning flashes is likely to occur at a few places over Dhaka, Mymensingh, Rangpur, Rajshahi, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions for next 24 hours commencing from 9am on Wednesday.
Moderately heavy falls are likely to occur at places and hails at isolated places over the country, a Met Office weather bulletin said.
Day and night temperature may rise slightly over the country.
The maximum temperature was recorded 35.5 degrees Celsius on Tuesday in Rajshahi division and Wednesday’s minimum temperature 19.2 degrees Celsius at Dimla.
