On the occasion of coming Pahela Boishakh, viewers’ choice pair of the small screen Ziaul Faruq Apurba and Mehazabien Chowdhury will be seen together again in a special telefilm titled Promise. Written by Tanin Rahman, the telefilm is directed by Maksudur Rahman Bishal. The three-day shooting of the telefilm was wrapped up recently.
This is for the fourth time that Apurba has acted under the direction of Bishal. While talking in this regard Apurba told this correspondent, “Earlier, I have worked in three small-screen projects under Bishal’s direction. The script of Promise is much better than earlier ones. Also, Bishal was more serious in direction this time. So, I am optimistic about the telefilm for the upcoming Pahela Boishakh.”
Mehazabien shared her feelings by this way, “Although I am playing the role of the heroine, but truth to be told this is the first time that I am portraying such a role. The story of the telefilm is really sweet and romantic. With utmost care, Maksudur Rahman Bishal has directed the telefilm and like always Apurba has supported me throughout the work. I am hopeful about the telefilm Promise.” The telefilm will be aired on SS Music Club’s official YouTube channel on the eve of Pahela Boishakh.
