Noted Nazrul singer Masuda Anam Kalpona is going to release her three solo albums on the occasion of marking the birth anniversary of National Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam. She will release these three albums on Youtube, she mentioned it yesterday.
For the last one year Kalpona has been working cordially for preparing these three albums. Only own cordial initiative and to reach Nazrul songs among all she has taken this step to release these albums. These three albums are: ‘Keno Kandey Poran,’ ‘Nomo Nomo Bangladesh Nomo’ and ‘Firiya Jodi Se Ashey.’ All these albums contain 10 songs each.
While sharing her feelings to release these three albums on Youtube Kalpona told this correspondent, “To pay tribute to National Poet I have taken initiative to release these albums. In fact, I have rendered uncommon songs of Nazrul as the learners can learn these songs properly and also can render these songs. As a trainer, as a singer and overall as a Nazrul lover I have dedicated myself to Nazrul songs. I hope listeners will enjoy these songs.”
Kalpona informed that Shitangshu Mazumder and Amlan Dutta have arranged music of these 30 songs. From today morning on Youtube and Kalpona’s own channel, kalponaanam.com these songs will be available.
It is noted that eraier under the banner of Laser Vision Kalpona’s three solo albums were released. She is now working as teacher at Chhayanaut Sangeet Bidyayton and also in the post of its Joint Secretary. Recently Kalpona and her husband noted Nazrul singer Khairul Anam Shakil’s duet Tagore songs based album titled ‘Ektuku Chhoya Lagey’ has been released under the banner of Laser Vision.
