Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of City Bank Limited Mashrur Arefin, unanimously nominated as the Secretary General of The Association of Bankers, Bangladesh (ABB). He nominated at meeting of the Board of Governors of the organization held on Monday through virtually, said a press release. ABB Chairman Ali Rezq lftekhar, Managing Director & CEO of Eastern Bank Limited, presided over the meeting. The Board of Governors also unanimously nominated Selim R. F. Hussain, Managing Director and CEO of BRAC Bank Limited as a new Vice Chairman. Both positions fell vacant recently due to the resignation from banks by the earlier position-holders.
