Mashrur Arefin, CEO of City Bank Limited and Md. Sharafat Ullah Khan, Project Director of Urban Building Safety Project, SME & Special Programmes Department of Bangladesh Bank (BB) under JICA assisted, exchanging document after signing an agreement at BB head office in the city on Thursday. Under the deal, City Bank as a Participating Financial Institution will get long term refinance/pre-finance facility to invest in the safe working environment in RMG sector of the country. Customers of the bank can avail this facility for fire safety, retrofitting, rebuilding and relocation of garments buildings. Top bosses from both sides were also present.
