The well marked low over west- central bay and adjoining area persists and under its influence deep convection is taking place over North Bay. Squally weather may affect North Bay, adjoining coastal area of Bangladesh and the maritime ports, a special weather bulletin said on Saturday.
The maritime ports of Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar, Mongla and Payra have been advised to keep hoisted local cautionary signal number three ® three.
All fishing boats and trawlers over North Bay have been advised to remain close to the coast and proceed with caution till further notice. They are also advised not to venture into the deep sea.
