UNB, Satkhira :
A man was found dead in a pond at Chonka village in Ghona union of Sadar upazila on Tuesday morning.
The deceased was identified as Haran Hrishi,35, son of Dulal Rishi, a resident of the village.
Locals spotted his body floating in the pond and informed police, said Kalam, sub-inspector of Sadar Police Station.
On information, police recovered the body.
Family sources said Haran went out of his father-in-law’s house at the village on Monday afternoon and had not returned since then.
