A team of eleven students and the Principal of Manarat Dhaka International College Brig Gen (Retd) Md Mehdi Hassan Pramanik, psc along with a female teacher of the college, Sabiha Sultana has recently gone to USA for a study tour, a press release said.
They visited New York, Washington DC, the capital of USA, the world famous Niagara waterfalls and Florida.
They also visited the famous Disney World (Epcot center) in Florida. The team had a three-day long robotic program classes in NASA’s (National Aeronautical and Space Administration) KSC (Kennedy Space Center) at Orlando, Florida. They hold a discussion with the veteran astronaut Jerry R Ross, NASA’s seven-time record holder for most space flights in history.
The three-day itinerary also included visit to the display of the real Space Shuttle Atlantis, which flew 33 missions in space. The tour let them see many facilities of KSC.
