Promising actress Nayma Alam Maha, hailed from Barishal, is trying to establish her position to act in good story based works under the direction of noted
directors. Born on April 7, Maha had planned to work in a good story based movie. At last, her dream came into true. Maha is acting in Anjan Aich directed movie Kanamachhi. Shooting of few
days of the movie yet not finished.
While talking about acting in her first movie Maha said, “Kanamachhi is a thriller comedy story based movie. I am playing the role of Suchitra in the movie. My character in the movie is nice. I have liked story and role, so I have agreed to work in the movie. I am very much optimistic about the film. I believe viewers
will enjoy the movie.”
Maha also said that she passed nice time with her co-actors during shooting of the movie. In last Eid, she acted against Chanchal Chowdhury in special drama Bayuchora directed by Salauddin Lavlu. Under same director’s direction, Maha also acted in seven-episode serial O Pakhi Tor Jontrona. Chanchal Chowdhury and Nusrat Imrose Tisha are favourite actors of Maha. Evan is her elder brother
while Nuha is her younger sister.
Maha informed that she yet not get the scope to perform as model in TV commercial and music video. But she already did some good works. Once noted actress and director Nima Rahman requested her to meet. After meeting, Nima Rahman gave her offer to act in her directed daily soap Gulshan Avenue-2. Maha did not trust it during that time. Later, she is
acting in this daily soap in role of Afrin. According to Maha, she took part in the shooting of 70 episodes of the daily soap.
Mehedi Hasan Mukul directed Boleni Bhalobasi was Maha acted her first drama. Then she got the scope to act in Sanjoy Somadder’s short film Bhalo Thakar Golpo.
