Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced an 18-member squad for the upcoming five-match T20I series against West Indies (WI) without big names like Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah and Yuzvendra Chahal.
Rohit Sharma will return to lead the side in the T20I series, however, KL Rahul and Kuldeep Yadav’s availability will be subject to fitness.
R Ashwin has returned to the India T20I side for the World Cup last year but he has not played the shortest format internationally since the series against New Zealand in November.
