Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Mayor Mohammad Sayeed Khokon distributed foods among as many as 800 poor and destitute people under an initiative to provide essential goods to 50,000 families in the city for one-month.
He distributed foods among the destitute people in front of High Court mazar on Tuesday afternoon.
DSCC Chief Executive Officer Shah Md Imdadul Haque, Ward Councilor Farid Uddin Ahmed Ratan and Secretary Mostafa Kamal Majumder and other senior officials were present.
