Railways Minister Mazibul Hoque said BNP Chairperson Khaleda will soon go on retirement quitting BNP.
“BNP leader Khaleda Zia is suffering from frustration over BNP’s future. She ha got tired with killing people in the name of hartal and blockade. BNP has no popularity among the common people. She will retire soon,” she said.
The minister said this on Saturday while addressing a discussion, arranged by Bangamata Parishad Sonali Bank at the Jatiya Press Club, said a press release.
Mazibul Hoque said Bangabandhu is not a leader of any particular party or group, rather he is the Father of the whole Bangali nation.
“So, it’s not fair to compare anyone with Bangabandhu.”
The nation will ever remember the contributions of Bangamata Fazilatunnesa Mujib to the country’s independence as she helped and encouraged Bangabandhu always from behind the screen during the Liberation War, he said.
State Minister for Food Nuruzzaman Ahmed also spoke at the function, presided over by President of Bangamata Parishad Sonali Bank Abdul Khaleque.
