BNP Chief Khaleda Zia and US Ambassador Dan W Mozena US Ambassador in Dhaka Dan W Mozena met with BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia on Tuesday evening at her Gulshan office, and discussed post polls situation.The meeting started around 8:15pm and ended 9:15pm.They held discussion on the country’s latest political situation, January 5 elections, the US’ stance on the polls and Sheikh Hasina-led government, post-election violence against minorities.This was the first meeting of the US envoy with the BNP chief after the January 5 controversial national election.On December 31 last year, the US envoy met the BNP chief at her residence on December 31 last year when the Hasina government virtually kept her under house arrest ahead of the 10th parliamentary polls.
